Callie May Waters
Name: Callie Waters
Nicknames: Call
Gender: Female
Age: 17
District: 4
Job: Student, but her family works at a local harbor. Her father is a coordinator at the harbor and works many long hours,
Description: Callie stands in at a whole 4’9 but is not to be mistaken for a weakling. Callie is a strong girl, however hidden her muscles are. She goes for a daily jog each morning, and is always in shape. She has strong arms from lessons her father has taught her at the harbor. Callie is a girl who could easily be mistaken for a pretty, small thing. She has gorgeous firery red hair that tumbles down past her shoulders. Her eyes are a bright and curious blue, and seem as if they could pierce your soul. Callie likes to dress fairly casually, but is also fasionable.
Personality: At one point and time, Callie had been a very well-reserved, quiet girl. She was young and never a trouble. But a troubling past has led to a different Callie, one that would surprise most. A typical person with a past as dark as Callie’s would expect her to be reserved and sad, but Callie surprises them with her sunny personality. Deciding not to let her ghosts haunt her, Callie became a very outgoing and cheery girl. Curiosity doesn’t leave her alone either.
History: Contrary to Callie’s sunny personality, her past is a shade darker. Her childhood was nice, she was close to her older sister Millie. Her parents were both loving and hard working. There were never any financial issues. Everything was golden, until Callie hit age twelve. Her sister had been injured at one of the local harbor docks. The equipment had been fault and neglected which led to injury and infection. Millie was denied treatment, and battled illness for a long six months before passing one night.
Her sister’s death was hard on not only Callie, but her mother as well. No one should have to watch their daughter die before they do. At the funeral, while the entire family grieved, Callie’s mother snapped and assaulted a peacekeeper, stealing his weapon and killing herself in front of everyone. At first, Callie was devastated.
It was a year after grieving when Callie decided she didn’t want to hurt anymore. It was like a polar opposite side came out of her, to deal with death and the lack of her father’s presence. Now we see only this side of Callie, the happy go-lucky, sunny Callie.
