Sorry, everyone had their suggestions titled as ______ was bored so I thought I'd try something else xD I'm actually not bored, just trying to avoid work that I need to do since it's due tomorrow morning....
Anywho, I was actually building on what alicia suggested about the reaping. Warning: my suggestions are really long and I tend to explain things a little too much in depth....
Another way you could do the reaping is to have a list of all the boy characters from a district and all the girl characters from a district, give each a number, and then make it a dice. So a dice for D1 boys, a dice for D2 girls, a dice for D2 boys, ect.
Then, if people want, they could sign up for tesseras. There could be a limit on how many tesseras you could have per character (maybe 2 or 3) and then each could cost you about 100 gold or something like that.
When they sign up for tesseras, each tessera would put their name in once more (like the books of course) but I'm not sure about the whole having name in more because of age. That might make it more complicated.
Another thing is I know people get attached to their characters (I always do) so maybe they could pick one or two of their characters that they don't want in the reaping.
Then, for people with more than one character, there could be a thread or something where they could put their characters names in order of preference of who they would like to be a tribute. That way if two of their tributes are reaped, the one they would rather use as tribute would be the one chosen and the other would be replaced.
Just a suggestion since it would make it more of a surprise who was reaped.
