Description: Rose's most striking feature is her signature pink hair. It changes regularly, but remains a similar shade to her usual bubblegum pink, and has done since her late teenage years. She is, in fact, a natural redhead, something she was eager to rid herself of when she was young.
Despite her vibrant hair colour, she has undergone fewer physical modifications than her peers, something she is considered a bit of an oddity for. She has had the odd piece of plastic surgery here and there, but has never been tattooed or had her skin pigmented. She firmly believes that everyone has some form of natural beauty, and this should only be enhanced, not compromised.
She has a neat, slender figure, and works hard to keep a perfect complexion, although marks in her two signature beauty marks on the left hand side of her face daily. She wears a septum ring most days.
Personality: Rose is very much a social butterfly, with a wide circle of friends and a busy lifestyle which she balances mostly between her work and her friends. She enjoys going to parties most nights when she isn't working, and, on a more scandalous note, has had a string of lovers, all in quick succession, one of which resulted in the birth of her daughter, Cherry.
Despite her career as a stylist for District 2, she is much more human than many of the people of the Capitol. She has always recognised that there is something very, very wrong about the Hunger Games. However, she is happy with the perfect lifestyle that has been provided for her and her daughter, so she keeps her mouth shut and hopes that she may simply help out the young tributes by ensuring they look stunning. It's the least she can do.
She is quite reckless by nature; a fun-loving risk-taker who enjoys thinking of herself as somebody who thrives on 'living on the edge'. Of course, this is a difficult feat for an inhabitant of the Capitol, where everything is as safe as can be, so her unruly lifestyle tends to derive from going to many parties, sleeping with many men and, on occaision, getting very drunk.
She adores her daughter, Cherry, although she is very much the opposite of her mother, preferring reading to fashion.
History: Rosalind grew up in an extremely wealthy family. They were so wealthy, in fact, that they were considered close to royalty. Her father was a relatively well-know politician, and her mother a successful screen actress, renowned for her beauty and talent. Despite having everything she could have ever dreamed of, Rose was a rebellious child. Her parents were strict and prided themselves of a beautiful child, but Rosalind was not someone who could be moulded, and did not take well to being put on display for her parents' high-class, stuck-up friends.
So, she rebelled in the way the majority of teenagers do; by taking it upon herself to sneak out of her window with a succession of boys, and do everything that she wasn't allowed to.
When she became pregnant at just 16, her family were disgusted. They did not want their name tarnished, yet neither did they want to harm their daughter, so they gave her an extortionately large sum of money before disowning her.
She had been enrolled in ver expensive and very much elite training for the beauty industry since the age of thirteen, so it wasn't hard for her to find herself a job in a posh little salon which backed out onto a high-class plastic surgery clinic, after having bought herself a lavish, spacious apartment with a view of the city. Her daughter was born and named Cherry, and she was happy as could be; free of her parents and with a large sum of money to her name, which steadily grew with her career.
She loved her daughter greatly, but, unfortunately, loved her career more. When she was chosen to become a stylist for District 2, she hired a young, friendly au pair to look after her daughter while she is working particularly long hours, although generally she trusts Cherry to be on her own whilst her mother is away.
