Carlyn Isabelle Michael Ryvers
Name: "Carlyn Isabelle Michael Ryvers."
Nicknames: "Uh, anything, really. Carlyn, Isabelle, Michael, Ryvers; one of those, or a variation of one of 'em'll do. I'm serious; anything. I don't particularly care. Most just tend to call me Carlyn or Ryvers, though."
Gender: "Female, if I remember correctly."
Age: "Seventeen years young, thank you."
District: "Three. You know, the number that comes after two and before four? Yeah, that one."
Job: "I'm currently looking for one. Both of my parents work in a small shop, though."
Description: "Well, to start, I stand at a height of 5'11 and ¾, which is tallish, I guess. My eyes are a light-brown color; sorta like mud, I should say. Except there are several gray-blue flecks sprinkled around. My hair is jet black and quite wavy, though not yet to the point of being curly, but not at all considered straight. I have lightly-tanned skin from spending the vast majority of my time outside, because I can't stand staying inside for more than only a couple hours. Now might also be a good time to mention that I have a large, seven inch scar across my stomach. But that's a long story which I'm not quite ready to tell. Anyways, moving on. Whenever I start to talk about something I like, have an idea, or am in a really good mood, there's this unnoticeable twinkle in my eyes, and a bright smile that graces my lips. When that's not the case, though, I tend to just keep a straight face and mask my emotions. But most of the time I'm jumpy and energetic with a smile on my face. I think that's it, so..."
Personality: "Personality? Well, this should be fun! Okay, well, I'm a bubbly, energetic, funny, random, caring, sweet, nerdy girl. One moment I'll be talking about animals, and the next I'll be talking about what I ate for dinner that morning. Wait, what? I meant breakfast, not dinner. Let's continue, shall we? I'm quite good at thinking on my feet and finding solutions to problems. Like earlier mentioned, I'm a bit of a nerd. I love learning and exploring, and will tend to say really smart sounding things that confuse people. I also tend to start talking on and on about things I really like, but it's completely unintentional. Oh, and I zone out a lot. And when I say "a lot," I ain't kiddin'. So if you see me just standing there, string off into space, I've zoned out and I'm thinking really deeply. It happens at completely random times and unless someone shakes me out of it, it can go on for as long thirty minutes. Well, that's the longest I've ever been out of it, but that's only becau--I'm getting off subject here. Sorry. Anywho! I have my blonde moments like everyone, although I have them almost everyday. I'm willing to put myself on the line for someone, no matter who, because I hate seeing others hurt or in trouble. I'm also not afraid to stand up for myself or others, or randomly greet someone. I love meeting new people, and I'm not at all considered shy. Most of my time is spent outside exploring and climbing trees and such. Nature is just so interesting and beautif-- I'm doing it again, aren't I? Well, I would go on, but I don't know what else I was going to say..."
History: "Oh, joy. My history isn't really anything special. I've had a fairly normal upbringing, I would think. But, since I can see you aren't quite satisfied with that answer, I'll give it to you in detail. I was born in April to two parents, Jason and Bridgette Ryvers. I was the first of five children, and therefore take it upon myself to protect them, as well as sign up for extra tesserae. I've lived through each reaping, and have to face it yet again this year. But, so do many others, but my chances of being reaped are become larger, still. A few months ago, though, I found Alicia out on the streets, and took her in without any trouble from my family, because they're all kind and caring, and will always help out a person in need. Sure, things were different at first, with her being an avox and all, but we all pitched in and tried to help hide her from the Peacekeepers. But we let her wander about the district, because she can't be kept up in a house for the rest of her life. So up until then, nothing of great importance or interest has happened. Well, two of my best friends were reaped, but I've tried hard to not let their brutal deaths get to me. Anyways, nothing else has happened. You might think that all of this was boring, and I don't blame you, but I love my life. It's simple, and I like it that way. Oh, one last thing: so far, I've been entered in for the reaping forty-seven times. Things don't particularly seem to be working out in my favor, do they?"
