Liam Rook Farley
Name: Liam Rook Farley
Nicknames: most just call him Liam
Gender: Male
Age: 35
District: Capitol
Job: Gamemaker [?]
Description: Liam stands at height of six feet exactly. His eyes are a dark shade of brown that many mistake to be black. His hair is a chocolate brown and he normally keeps a bit of facial hair. Liam is almost always wearing his glasses that are slightly tinted. To Liam, appearance is everything and he makes sure that he appears perfect. He keeps his hair gelled in his signature "messy" hairdo while his body is always clad in the finest clothes money can buy. Although many Capitol men wear makeup, Liam chooses not to. He does, however, have a tattoo on his right arm that reads "GM" in cursive. Liam has often been told that his ears are too small and his feet are too big. This does not bother him because as far as he's concerned, as long as his hair that frames his ears is styled perfectly and his feet are cased by the finest shoes, these small flaws are not noticeable.
Personality: Liam is in one word mad. His mind is one of the most feared minds in Panem and for good reason. He is not stupid, but quite the opposite. Liam is a genius, but what he does with this genius is what terrifies the people of the Districts. Liam loves to think of new creatures known as mutts to terrorize the tributes in the Hunger Games. He also often designs the arenas, strategically placing traps where a tribute is certainly to wander. While all of the Capitol is entertained by the Hunger Games, Liam most likely finds the most fun in it. During the Games, he often avoids sleep so that he can sit and watch the monitors that track each vulnerable tribute. He loves the feeling of power that he can control the fates of twenty-four children. Liam can hide this insanity and to the citizens of the Capitol, he is a funny and charming man. He is very good at reading people and knows how to persuade them easily. Liam can be quite a flirt and seems to know all the right things to say. During the Games, he often can be found flirting with the stylists and escorts when he is not working on the Games. He loves going to parties and being surrounded by people. The only time Liam enjoys solitude is when he is planning the Games. He hates the people of the Districts and feels that those in the Capitol are far superior. He feels no sympathy for the tributes whom he helps kill. Liam is not married and therefore does not have any children of his own. He actually enjoys watching children play, as long as they are from the Capitol of course. Liam occasionally feels pangs of jealousy at the power of the President, but he comforts himself and reasserts his own power when he works on the Games. Liam is fascinated by the tributes who become victors in the Games and has a strange obsession with them. He often invites the former victors to a sort of ball of his so that he may gain deeper insight into who they are and how they survived.
History: Liam was the only child to Ruby and Justice Farley. He always looked up to his father and hoped to someday be like him. In his father's mind, however, Liam was hardly worth being proud of. Liam was quite and reserved when he was young while his father was very outgoing and knew how to control the center of a crowd. His father believed that Liam would grow up to ultimately fail and made these opinions known to Liam often. As Liam grew up, he slowly became more and more social. He would watch his father interact with others and copy this manipulative strategy. Liam was fascinated by the Hunger Games even when he was a child. He can still remember the first Opening Ceremony that his parents brought him to. Liam asked his mother why the stylists bothered working so hard on a bunch of tributes that would simply die. His mother simply shrugged and continued to cheer as chariot after chariot pulled into the square with tributes decked out in flamboyant costumes. As he grew older, Liam continued to have an intense interest in the Games and so his parents arranged for him to shadow the Head Gamemaker. Liam was ecstatic and knew from that point that he wanted to be a Gamemaker. As soon as he turned eighteen, Liam signed up. At first he was simply an assistant to the Gamemakers, but as he expressed his ideas and demonstrated his intelligence, Liam was promoted quickly. Liam never regrets his decision to become a Gamemaker and looks forward to each year's Games just as much as he anticipated the first Game where he was a Gamemaker.
