Role Playing Experience: About three years I think
Reason: I really think it would be interesting to get into the mind of a Game Maker. Plus, my character's mind would be so much fun to explore. After all, what's more fun than playing a lunatic? x] Also I've never played a Game Maker before so it would be something new and exciting.
Character: Liam Rook Farley
Position: Game Maker
Role Playing Example:
Liam grinned at his reflection as he put the finishing touch on his newest outfit. With a quick tug, he set bow tie into place before running a hand through his carefully gelled hair. Perfection, he decided with a satisfied grin when a knock broke him away from his own reflection. "Come in," he sighed with a bored tone, waiting as the oak door slid open to reveal his Avox, Demetri. The Avox simply nodded his head and left the room while the sound of voices drifted through the open door.
"Hm, they're here already?" he thought, a frown creasing his features as Liam glanced at the clock which indicated that they were a bit early. As he reached the top of his winding staircase, Liam pulled on his most winning smile before slowly descending to greet his guests. Here we go, Liam could not help but think before making his presence known to the group before him. "Ah, welcome, welcome everyone to my lovely home. I'm so glad you all could make it!" he announced with a dazzling smile and small bow.
Approaching each of his guests, Liam greeted them and offered them a drink. It had become a sort of routine for him. He knew the game well enough and played it just as well as his father had, if not better. Hm, if only the old man could see me now, Liam snickered internally as he ushered the escort for District Four into the party. "Why my dear, you are looking just as lovely as ever! I insist you give me the honor of this dance," he purred smoothly. Just as Liam predicted, she blushed and agreed.
The music filled the dazzling house and Liam excused himself to check and make sure the feast was in order. You can never trust those darn Avoxes to get anything right, he sighed before examining each dish and table setting. Clapping his hands in approval, Liam observed as the party flowed into the dinner flawlessly as always. Taking his seat at the head of the table, Liam nodded and the feast began. Ignoring the mouth watering aromas that wafted from the large mahogany table, Liam turned to the young lady on his right. With long hair and sparkling eyes, she was very pretty, but that was not why Liam had made sure she was the one sitting in that chair. It was who she was that interested him the most.
She was the latest victor of the Hunger Games and the focus of Liam's interest. He desperately wanted to know how she did it, how she survived the Games that he created. Each year before the next Hunger Games, Liam would have the latest victor sit at that very seat at his ball. There, during the meal, he could question them, observe them, and prod them so that he could know more and more to make his Games more and more lethal. The procedure of extracting the information from the new victors was tedious and at times Liam wished he could simply forcibly remove the information he needed and return to his plans. If only... he mentally sighed before pulling himself back together.
"Congratulations my dear for your victory! I don't believe I had the chance to congratulate you before, after all you are quite a celebrity now. May I say I was quite impressed by your performance," he began, each word carefully purred from a script he had developed. Depending on where the victor was from, Liam would choose the words he needed to slowly pull them in. Since the girl before him this year was a Career, praise of her days in the arena was the best way to go.

"Thank you again for coming! You looked absolutely marvelous tonight! I look forward to next year's ball!" Liam called as each guest finally made their way to the door. His grin had doubled in size after he learned what he needed from the victor. Liam had successfully gained the knowledge he needed and at the same time presented his guests with one of the fines parties of the year. But now onto more important things, Liam nearly sprinted to his office before hunching over the large, polished desk. With a dangerous glint in his eyes, he began to work.
Each flick of his pen and scribbled note added a new element to the Game he loved the most. This year's tributes are in for an exciting Game," he snickered, appraising his work.
