Description: Tristan only reaches a height of five feet nine inches, but he hopes to one day be as tall as his father. He has cloudy grey eyes that are partially hidden by his brown hair. The mysterious look this combination creates attracts plenty of followers. Tristan has tanned skin after working outside with his parents to help take care of the livestock. His hands are calloused after years of working with different animals, especially horses. A birthmark peeks out across Tristan's right wrist, but this does not bother him as much as another trait of his. Like most of his family's ears, Tristan's ears are slightly pointed, giving him a sort of elf-like look. This is one of the reasons he prefers to keep his hair a bit long so that he can cover the embarrassing trait up. Tristan can usually be seen wearing a comfortable shirt with worn jeans and working shoes. Tristan's eyes show most of his emotions, but his smile is worth a thousand words. When he is flustered, Tristan tends to have an awkward, side smile on his face while his eyes flicker from object to object. Most of the time, however, he has a warm smile on his face while his eyes lock in on whoever he is talking to.
Personality: Tristan is a strange boy. He is very friendly towards people and always tries to keep a positive attitude. He is very strong in his beliefs and values. Tristan hates the Hunger Games and the idea of children being forced to kill one another and become "beasts." Although Tristan enjoys hanging out with friends and walking through the district, he has one special place that he feels completely safe. In the barn with the many horses under the care of his parents, Tristan is at home. He visits the horses at least once a day and will see them multiple times in a day if he feels especially upset, angry, or flustered. Whether he is simply petting a horse, taking care of a horse, or actually riding a horse, Tristan always feels a sense of calmness and security fall onto him when he is with the majestic creatures. With his "mysterious" disappearances to his safe place and the "mysterious" look that swirls in his cloudy eyes, Tristan attracts the attention of many girls. While his friends can be flirts, he feels rather awkward around the opposite sex. Tristan with often become flustered or embarrassed when he is with a girl and this brings out the signs of his condition. He has a mild form of autism, but works hard to conceal any trace of this condition. This autism only seems to become evident when he is extremely flustered, embarrassed, or upset. Tristan desperately wants to fit in with everyone else, but as he watches people kill each other in the games, cheat on each other in relationships, and steal from people or shops, he only becomes more and more afraid of society and more dependent on his sanctuary with the only thing he can find that is innocent and pure: the horses.
History: Tristan was born to Petunia and Antion Lockwood. He is the youngest of the couples two children. His sister, Rainey, recently turned nineteen, making her safe from the Hunger Games much to Tristan's relief. Growing up, he was always very close to his family and loved to help his parents with the animals whenever he could. Tristan as very shy when he first began school, but his impressive ability with horses and happy nature soon attracted many friends. Although he became more open, Tristan still worried that at any moment he would trip up on his words or embarrass himself in some other manner. A few years ago, a boy Tristan knew very well was reaped for the Hunger Games. Tristan was crushed as he watched his friend be brutally murdered on the screen. The harsh reality that the Games could hurt him rocked his world. Each year when they are forced to watch the Hunger Games, Tristan will find an excuse to be away from the screen when a tribute dies. He has developed a terrible fear of death and each year before the reaping, Tristan simply hopes with all his might that he won't be chosen to enter the infamous Game.
