Description: Emerald stands at a petite height of five feet two inches. Her brown hair matches her brown eyes that seem to sparkle when she laughs or smiles. Emerald's skin is a creamy color and much less tan than those living in lower districts since she does not have to go outside often to work. She is constantly trying to cover up the birthmark on the back of her right shoulder since it is a flaw that is simply not acceptable in such a prestigious district. Emerald's hands are soft and unscratched because of what a luxurious life style she has been accustomed to. When she isn't fussing over her birthmark, Emerald is often complaining about the family trait of having a rather small nose. This unique characteristic, however, is not one she can cover up. She can often be seen wearing the latest dresses, but Emerald always wears shorts or pants to training. A smile is almost always on Emerald's face and frowns are a rare sight.
Personality: Emerald is a very outgoing girl. She loves being around a group of people and hates being alone or excluded. Emerald tries to please everyone, especially her parents, but this can get her into trouble sometimes. Emerald hates when arguments break out because she knows both sides will want her support. She does not like to choose and prefers to be neutral in most situations. Emerald is always trying to live up to her parents expectations and therefore works hard in training as a Career. She does not want to go into the Hunger Games, but feels it is her duty to uphold the family honor by winning the Games. Emerald has always had what she needed and more so she does not understand the poverty that plagues the lower districts. She has a hard time understanding when to be quite and can have a short temper. Although Emerald tries to befriend everyone, if someone gets on her bad side they had better watch out. She excels in knife throwing and sword fighting in training, but she does not do as well in survival skills. Emerald can be the life of the party, but she is often confused on whether something will truly make her happy, or just others happy.
History: Emerald grew up as the only child to Lucinda and Phyro Raven. She was always the center of their attention and therefore very spoiled. Emerald began training as a Career at the young age of ten since her father envisioned her as a Hunger Games victor. Emerald felt pressured even as a child to work hard to appear perfect and poised. Her parents taught her at an early age that she must make many friends and work hard in Career training or else she would be a failure. Emerald never took much interest in boys as a child since she was so focused on simply having friends, but now that she is a teenage, she can not help but eye the boys at Career training. Emerald is still an only child and will most likely remain one. This makes her home life a little lonely, but whenever her parents fear that she is becoming too sad, they simply hand her money and send her to the nearest clothing store or party.
