Role Playing Experience: Umm...I feel like I started in 2008 so like 4 years...but it might be more.
Reason: I think it would be really fun to RP a tribute, especially a Career. Also Aidan is a real snob to everyone but children, so I was already thinking that like if a younger person was also tribute then he could be like protecting that tribute while the other Careers want to kill him/her...just a thought. :) Anyway yeah I just think it would be super fun and I feel up to the job. :)
Character: Aidan Chase Clark
Position: District 4 Male Tribute
Role Playing Example: Aidan was slaving away at that fishing net, weaving over, under, over, under. Sometimes he hated how boring it was, doing the same thing over and over again, but other times he found it calming. Sort of...meditative...
He was starting to nod off when he saw a large shadow loom over him. Aidan snapped his head up, meeting the hateful gaze of his father.
"There's no time for sleeping around here!" His dad sounded like a drill sergeant. "If you want to sleep, find someone else to work for!"
"Maybe if you actually paid me somethin' I'd work harder!" Aidan shouted back. Unfortunately, he worked for his father. And he really deserved a raise. All Aidan ever did these days was work, when he would rather be hanging out with his friends or training for the Hunger Games.
"Don't you talk back to me," his father growled menacingly, in a low tone that meant trouble. He finger was pointing at Aidan's face. "You're lucky you even have a job. Now get to work!" And with that, he turned and stalked off. Only then did Aidan notice the bottle of Jack in his father's hand. He must not have been close enough for Aidan to smell the booze on his breath.
"It's awfully nice workin' for a drunk!" he yelled after him, but he immediately regretted it as the half-empty bottle came whipping towards his face. Aidan ducked, but the bottle still nicked him hard in the back of his neck, along with a spray of Jack Daniels. The bottle shattered on the ground beside Aidan, leaving a terrible mess, and a dangerous one at that. Kids often walked along this way, which was part of the reason why Aidan liked to work at this spot. He loved the kids in this part of District 4. But those kids were very curious, and would probably stop to investigate the sharp objects in the grass.
"Clean that up, and get back to work," Aidan's dad mumbled, and he was surprised to hear a bit of defeat and sadness in his voice. Rubbing his bruised neck, Aidan started picking up the pieces of broken bottle. He did it for the kids, not for his father.
